Joy
I drown my troubles in the laughter of others. It gives me hope, seeing people happy and smiling. On occasion I even find myself smiling stupidly along with them. For a second, the battle forgotten.
Perhaps some day I will find out how to be at peace with myself. And just maybe I will understand how to feel the emotion in a smile. To truly know joy.
